Q: How do I buy a car through Export A Car From UK Ltd?

A: The price quoted to you is the price you will pay for the car, documents and shipping to a port of your choice..

 

Q: Which countries do you export to?

A: We will export to any country where there is a legal law to import a vehicle from the UK.

 

Q: How do I order a vehicle not listed in Available Stock?

A: Go to the Find My Car page and fill out the form, then one of our specialist team members will get back to you to discuss your needs in more detail. Alternatively call us on 0845 8622040 or email us info@exportcarfromuk.com.

 

Q: Which shipping lines do we use?

A: We have a huge network of major shipping lines meaning we have access to the best prices and services. We also have specialist packing options and air freight available upon request.

 

Q: How is shipment arranged?

A: Upon receipt of your payment, we will arrange booking of your vehicle for shipping on the next available vessel. All shipping documents will be first sent by email and then sent by courier to you after the vessel sails. This is to ensure your documents will arrive before the ship arrives at your selected port.

 

Q: What are FOB & CIF prices?

A: CIF stands for (Cost+Insurance+Freight) it covers freight, port to port insurance and other costs of freight. FOB price stands for (Free on board price); it means that the price does not include insurance, Freight and Inspection charges.

 

Q: What Documentation/ Information do you require from my side after i have confirmed a purchase?

A: You are required to provide us with the following information / Documentation:

a.     Consignee Name b.     Consignee Address c.     Full contact information such as Contact No., Fax No., etc. d.     If the consignee and the purchaser are different then you must let us know.

Please provide us with the above information in order to make sure that all the shipping documentation is correctly prepared before the shipment.

 

Q: Who would package & ship my car?

A: We prepare all of our vehicles to the highest possible standard before shipping. If the vehicle is being shipped via container, we will deliver it to a specialist freight packaging company that we have worked with closely for many years, so it can be safely stored and secured in the container.

 

Q How will I come to know the shipment date of my vehicle?

A: When your vehicle has been booked for shipment, our shipping department will create a shipping notification that will be sent to you via e-mail or fax indicating the estimated time of departure (ETD) and estimated time of arrival (ETA).

 

Q: What shipping documents will I receive?

A; You will receive the following shipping documents:

Bill of Landing

Customs Invoice

Depending on the country there may be further documentation for registration purposes (if required)

 

Q: How will my vehicle be delivered to the port?

A: We use a reputable logistics company to deliver our cars to port. Vehicles are not driven unless you have requested us to do so.

 

Q: Can Export A Car From UK Ltd arrange insurance during shipping?

A: Yes – we can arrange for cover under Marine Insurance policies to most destinations.
